No incoming call and text

I activated nearly 24 hrs and ported my old number from different carrier but still cant receive calls and text. I am expecting a call today. Can anyone have an idea?

I didnt receive any text for permission to port. Maybe because i took their sim out.. Maybe I should put back incase they text me.
