8UV8 -- Your call cannot be completed as dialled

I added 1000 minutes for calls to the US a few days ago. I tried making a call today to a friend in the States and received the above automated message. Does anyone know what the issue is? I'd appreciate any assistance you can give. Thanks!

@softech Thank you for your response. I'm not experiencing the same problem with other numbers, and I'm receiving calls.

Thank you. I will try that. I actually tried calling again and listened to the message -- the code sounds more like 8B1, not 8UV1. @HALIMACS
