New service not activated yet

Transferred to public mobile last night from Bell Canada. Got the text from Bell saying they were notified of cancellation, but no active service yet with public mobile. Why??

Got a new phone - new sim in the new phone and old sim in the old Bell phone. Replied to the text last night. Still nothing.
