I am having a similar problem, people tell me my voice is skipping words, they only hear half of a sentence, also I sound like a robot. I had my phone replaced by Apple same issue.

what do you mean "what is the version of the Carrier profile",  the new phone is updated

In my old phone everything is fine but when i move the sim to the new phone which is unlocked there is nothing it does connect to public mobile etc
