I used to have the same issue as you have. anyway, the simplest way is to use Paypal instead of credit card payment, you won't end up encountering any error messages afterwise, believe me.
If you have a new sim card to be acativated, please use a new email address for regestration. Do not confuse the old one, which makes things much easier.
