Bought a phone for my mom, sign up for Public Mobile 9 days ago. Worked well until this morning. Every time calling from her phone ended up with a message saying she doesn't have long distance in her plan, and it is a local call.

I had the same question regarding my account, but it did not turn out the way you described. I went to the account and found out they did not debit my credit card.I have to manually pay to activate it. They have been taking money out for a few months...
Checked phone use, does not looked like she used that much out going calls. Paid the $5 suggested by others nothing changed.I am tired of this kind of trouble shooting. Why doesn't PM have people you can talk to?
