Why offer better plans to new customers only and no the people who supported your company?

I'm currently on a $25 / 1GB plan.

I want to switch to the $25 / 4GB plan, but it doesn't let me.

Whatever they offer will be MORE EXPENSIVE.

They won't do anything.

It's just better and faster to ditch Public Mobile and go to another provider.

Everyone is doing the same promo.

I've gotten two responses back from customer service stating the same thing:

BUT If you want the 50 Gb for $34 you can get that plan via Freedom Mobile and it includes data/text/voice across North America for no extra fees (i.e. Canada AND US). We switched to Public Mobile for Black Friday and are pretty frustrated at the ridiculousness of them offering a plan with 10Gb more data at the same price and not allowing us to switch to that one despite having only been customers for a month:

I know people who got the new plan by contacting the customer support. The customer support says they can't do it, but systems aren't built like that. I should go for Lucky Mobile (Bell) 's $20 3GB plan.

if you pm them directly, perhaps they can offer you something better than what you currently have. It doesn't hurt to try.

@Zantac

Marketing and attracting more new members to PM. Carriers make more money this way.

The plan is for new activiation only, however, if you have questions, you can pm a CS_agent and see if they can provide you other options.

HI @Zantac

the reason is that ever carrier is doing the same, good plans are for new activation only
