Rogers Wireless just announced that they are decommissioning the 3G network on March 31st 2025.
What will this mean for us PM users? - Nothing really other than the small EXT zone in west Vancouver Island. PM Does not use Rogers towers.
But this may indicate something - by 2026 3G will be gone in Canada - and carriers will need to step up their coverage.
They are also repurposing the 3G spectrum to become 4G LTE & 5G spectrum.
But wait... this email was for the IOT customers - the personal mobility customers will receive their text / email later on about this change.

hi @fixin but there is a mobile expert here, who works in the industry, said they will postpone the end of 2025 time, that's why I was surprised seeing Rogers moving ahead in 2025

@hTideGnow - I don't know yet... but most people speculate by the end of 2025. There has to be the date to come soon!
