Why’s everyone think about e sims are they easy to set up
Monday
I think there more convent at least there no way to damage or loosing it will not be an issue.
Sunday
Mhm never thought of that. You’d think they would have eliminated physical SIM cards already. But I’m sure it’s because of certain generations unwillingness to learn technology. But I also can imagine if my generation didn’t turn of age as technology advanced and I didn’t learn for example anything to do with computers in school. That it could be overwhelming. But really just take the time to go through every setting and even google the ones you don’t understand and you’d catch up

Also. Sometimes you get tricked and sold a blacklisted phone. Usually the second IMEI number isn’t blacklisted and might be able to get away with using an eSIM either for a short time or a long time depending on if the system catches the second imei usage

Depends on your phone. First check your settings and make sure you have 2 IMEI numbers. The second one is basically an eSIM slot. And after that yeah super simple. Usually get a QR code in you email. Or a manual code. Since you can’t take a photo of the QR code take a screen shot. Put it into google image lookup. And it will then give you the link the QR code if for and should pretty much automatically load onto your phone. iPhone it will ask you which sim you want to use for what services of you have another sim in your tray. Android it’s all in the settings

Smart phone manufacturers are going to eSIM to save the space that the SIM tray takes up and increase the battery size and capacity.

The eSIM is so convenient! Plus there’s to struggling with a pin or trying to find one just to get the old sim tray open lol

in my opinion; I have more versatility using the hard sim rather then esim. I can remove the hard sim and install in a different cellphone. When my old cell dies and I replace it...the sim just gets swapped to new cell and I'm in business. Public Mobile does provide a free replacement esim so there's that.

I prefer ESIM, it is so easy to use.

I prefer the physical SIM as I have 5 iPhones and 2 Samsung phones that I swap the SIM to each phones.

hi @cvick eSIM is good and easy as you don't need to go out and buy the sim card
but physical sim is easier if you need to change phone
so, both have pros and cons
