porting from Koodoo

my friend is trying to port his number from Koodoo to PM.  It came up with an error message after he agreed to port his number so he tried to login to his account on his computer.  However, the account insists on sending a confirmation code to his phone number which has now been deactivated by Koodoo but not set up on PM.  How can he get back in to his account?
