I was suppose to retain my phone number from my previous provider but was assigned a new number instead, how do we fix that?

Keep in mind Telus prepaid WILL keep you account open for a couple of weeks after porting out your number.

Old account needs to be active and in good standing with other provider to port your number to Public Mobile.
To get your number over open the chat bot
Type "port request" and follow the steps.
Also if you used a referral code when signing up for a $10 bonus the credit will be applied within 72 hours.
