It is extremely unlikely in this case as the problem ocurred after a number change. Number change cannot trigger a SIM card defect.

Hi, are you able to make any phone calls or texts or use data? Also are you sure your phone is unlockedd or locked to telus? If everything is okay here, then i suggest you send amessage to . the moderators.
