Good question, I have no clue. I don't top up, just use auto pay.
Let's get a definitive answer to this from a moderator. @Shazia_K

Then if you know for sure that your credit card is active as well, you have three remaining options...
1- Try toping less than $300, like $100, to see if that is the problem;
2- Contact your credit card company to make sure they are not blocking the card (they might be doing that as "security" since you tried many times - or for any other reason)
3- If still doesn't work, then try contacting moderators to see if problem is related to your account...
I suggest you send them a private message. Be sure to include your Public Mobile phone number and/or SIM card number as well as a detailed description of your problem. Click here to know how contact them. They are available from Mon-Thursday 9am to 9pm and Friday-Sunday from 9am to 5:30pm (eastern time). They usually respond pretty fast to help requests!
I hope your problem will be solved quickly 🙂

@cork99
How long exactly was your account inactive? If more than 90 days, than your phone number is lost and your SIM card is good for the trash.
You would have to order a new SIM card. Not sure then if you need to create a new account or if you can go in Selfserve and chose a new number and replace SIM card number...

My guess is you are allowed to top-up more than $300, since in the "promo" to transfer legacy account to Koodo they offered to transfer up to $300 in balance to Koodo. If they mentioned a limit than I guess it's possible to have more...
However maybe not possible to top-up that much money all at once? I don't know...

Hi @cork99,
I am not sure I understand your message...
- Do you want to make a payment to your acount of $300? If yes, when does it says "unable"? After entering the credit card informations?
- Does the message say a little more than "unable"?
Here are some tip that may applied to you, but I am not sure...
- Make sure to spell your name the same way and to use the same address in your Public Mobile account than in your credit card account.
- Make sure your are not trying to use the same credit cart with more than two Public Mobile accounts (it is not possible to do it)
- Use a different browser / use private mode on your browser / delete all Public Mobile cookies on your browser
- You can also pay with vouchers that you buy in stores. Also note that you'll earn the autopay reward as long as you have a credit card saved in your account with autopay enabled, even if you use vouchers to top up your account before the autopay payment is processed.
If nothing works, then try providing us more information!
I hope your problem will be solved quickly 🙂

Can you be more specific? Are you activating or making payment to an existing account?
