I recently signed up for an account and ordered an esim. I now learn that my new phone does not accept eSim.
I haven't activated my account yet. Can I still activate it if I go purchase a physical SIM card to use instead of the esim?

@TerryOh - if your old phone supports eSIM - yes, scan the QR code & finish the activation process.

@TerryOh - Put the new SIM card (From Amazon) in, then if you try to login, and it asks for a 2FA code, ask CS_Agent for the change of SIM cards. If it still asks you to continue activation, there may be a chance to go back 1 step and enter the new SIM card number.
Also, don't use the QR code in the email, that is the eSIM code.

I haven't ported yet. I haven't even tried to activate the esim yet.I 'll order a sim card from Amazon. My new phone won't be here until next week anyway.
So I just put the card into my phone and then activate my account with the QR code?

@TerryOh - If you are porting a number, don't reply instantly (Just do it after logging into my account via the old providers SIM) to order a physical sim for $10. You can get them at amazon for $5 and or Mobile Klinik / Telus / Koodo stores for $10.
