dial *#2263# gives "Connection problem or invalid mmi code"

Hello,

I was having issues with mobile data.

So I tried dialing

*#2263#

and the response I got was:
Public Mobile Message
Connection problem or invalid mmi code

The initial error I had gotten when tried to use an app that required network connection was:
Network connection unavailable.
Please check that you have a data connection and try again.

After reading some posts, I checked the APN and it seems to be set correctly, then I dialed that code and got the invalid mmi code message.

Even did a Network connection reset and rebooted the phone -- Google Pixel 6.

Any help??

Did both a Reset Network & Reboot, both did not work.
What seem to work was toggling the PM sim on/off.
The apps now seem to be able to connect when phone is not on wifi (ie at my home).

@sheirali that's a code for Samsung phones to manually select bands. It won't do anything on Pixel.

Problem on PM side

But it might help to Reboot the phone and Reset network settings. If still cannot connect, try changing network mode to 4G or LTE and reboot phone once more
