changing plans right after joining pm

So my wife and I looking at your plans if we pick one and join pm with our 2 phone can we immediately change plans to your 30 dollars for 30 gigs Can USA Mexico plan for existing customers. Our son has been with PM for 3 years and just did the plan change. I believe it is for existing customers. Will we be considered as an existing customers joining pm today? So we can change to the 30 dollars for 30 gigs Can USA Mexico today

someone shared experience that they joined today and could switch to the 30/30 plan. so it is possible.

It's tricking. So you can always change plans but there are no credits. Also, you can only change plans to what is offered in your account specifically. 

The plans on the website might not be in your account for you to change to. For example,  I don't have that $30/30 plan in my account.

If it's there, that's great you can change to it on the next Renewal.  If changed immediately,  you will pay for both costs no credits applied.
