ok it says ive got my dads bday wrong and wont let me into self serve so i can get account #

The password reset broke again and I don't think there has been any official announcement that it has been fixed.  It seems to work for some accounts and not others.  That was the inconsistent way before it was declared fixed.

I just tried that "Forgot you password?" link on the login screen and I received the PM password email after 1 minute.

 

Try it again.  If you do not received the PM reset password email after couple of minutes, it is time to send private message to moderator.  Moderator wait time is about 48 - 72 hours.

Had you try the "Forgot your passord?" link on the login screen to reset your password?

yes it says i gave wrong password then locked me out from trying to get it right my old password incorrect or im doing the wrong one but it was google saved to my phone

Do you mean that the password from the password reset is incorrect?

Have you checked for Caps locks?
