Wording error on Port Fraud Protection Article

I found a wording error on a PM article, specifically the Port Fraud Protection Article.

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/port-fraud-protection

It states:

  • Be sure to check all texts that could go to any other members on the old account and any junk or spam folders.

There shouldn't be junk or spam folders when dealing with text messages. Some updated wording in the article could be beneficial 😃

Warm regards,

Marc

Hi @MarcGSR

True, there are no 'junk' or 'spam' folders as there are in e-mail programs.

However, there are settings on both iPhone and Android which attempt to mirror such capabilities.  Perhaps the writers of this PM article wanted to keep the language familiar to the majority without getting into the various types of individualized settings of each phone manufacturer.
