Phone tries to connect to my wifi and message says wrong password when it is the right password. please advise

What router are you using? If you have a computer/laptop/notebook, you can use a ethernet cable to connect to the router/modem.
1- Using your browser type in the ip address of your router. I have a Xfinity Gen 2 router which address is 10.0.0.1
2) After typing in the address you will be required to enter User Name and Pasword. For example mine was User name: admin PW: password
After logging in you can see your password and change it to whatever you want. You can change the name of your wifi as well. I do it all the time. All this info can be easily found by googling. To some this may sound complicated, but it gives you more options.

My phone does this on occasion. To fix I need to remove the wifi network. Under settings choose wifi, forget network on the one you're trying to connect to. Once removed restart the phone and then try reconnecting to the wifi.
So far it's always worked for me, good luck!

Hi @JR27
Yes technology can have its hiccups. What about reboot (like power off/on) of your router (and modem if it's not an all in one device.
It is common to lose connections but a reboot fixes 95% of them.
Hope this helps

@JR27 you could also reach out to your internet provider to get them to reset it so you could choose a new one.

Look around your modem/router and look for the wifi password then look for the wifi on your phone and enter the password.

Well, @JR27 , this really isn't a Public Mobile problem and sounds more like a phone problem to me. Best advice, Google the phone and problem and hopefully you get your answer. You can try to reset your WiFi and enter it again. Make sure your firmware is up to date too.
