I Recieved a charge on my debit mc for an unknown payment. Data has been turned off and haven't gone over anything. Also did not know that it charged my debit because when I signed up for autopay it wouldn't accept my card. I payed cash in person for the start up fees when I started the plan as well as the first month.
Super unhappy with the service.
Was suppose to be 15 a month for my son's plan. Was randomly charged 42 dollars for no reason.
Can't get ahold of anyone to get my money back. Ready to switch to a new service.

Check your Public Mobile account(s) online in the payment history. That should reflect the charges to your card.
Edit: Keep in mind the charges showing in your payment history exclude taxes.....so you will need to add taxes to what you see in payment history to match the charges on your card.

There have been reports around here of people using MasterCard Debit. MasterCard themselves list PM as a place to use it. As usual, changing a few lines of texts here and there around here is done at a snails pace.

@Rovychew 2 plans $25 + 15 = 40 + 5% applicable taxes = $42 did you pay to activate both plans using your MasterCard debit? Thanks. Welcome to PM. Stay safe.

@Rovychew Public Mobile doesn't charge overage fees. Access your selfserve account and click on the payment history link. Does that charge shows up? If not, then that charge is not from Public Mobile.

There are a few things that have me wondering who scammed you in the first place. For one, there are no service fees or activation fees with Public Mobile that I am aware of. Granted, maybe some stores charge a flat rate for this, but that's a scam in itself! There is a fee for a SIM card, but I think every cell phone provider, you have to pay for that.
Secondly, Public Mobile isn't able to accept Mastercard Debit Cards for some strange reasons. Only Visa Debit card work in this instance. It would be interesting to see how you were able to apply the debit MasterCard as it states what is accepted for payment.
Did you pay in cash? One needs to add funds to their self-serve account, so, either a credit card, voucher or Visa debit cards are what can be accepted. How is the store adding these funds into your account without this?
$42, my math skills suck, even at the $40 plan plus the standard taxes of 12% taxes, it comes out to $37.50 of a plan. And there isn't a plan like that.
I agree with the other person, if you can upload the statement and wipe of any other personal information such as credit card, name and address, it will give you the description of what it is.

I think that charge is Mobile One gas station not Public Mobile.

PM is prepaid service and does not have pay-per-use. There is no overage charge. Your son's phone stops working after he used all the plan minutes and data.
If your bank statement showing PM taking $42 from your debit MC, create a moderator support ticket for help using the ? button at the right side bottom corner of this page.
1. Tell SIMon what is the issue

What does the descriptor say on the charge in your bank account?
Public mobile is prepaid and there are no data overages.
Do you have access to your son's public mobile account to view purchase history to ensure no add-ons were purchased?
We would really need more information to assist you with this potential issue. As Oracle @ShawnC13 mentioned a screenshot of your charge personal info blocked out would help us.
@gpixel @yanzhiqiang I know you're both new to the forums. It's always best to ensure all the basis are covered before just posting to contact moderators.

We will need to see a screenshot with your personal information removed to see what is going on. The thing is Public Mobile doesn't do Debit MasterCard so not sure how they could have charged it. How do you know it is a Public Mobile charge? Does it say that on your bank account?
