Unable to send local text to certain numbers.

Hi! I'm fairly new to PM, just ported my number last week. I have a moto X, and whenever I try to send a text to particular numbers, I get the follwing response.

"Public Mobile here. Sorry we do not offer text messaging outside of Canada at this time."

Most numbers work without issue, and I am postive the numbers I am texting are local. Any solutions?

I am also having the same issue. It has been like this for at least two days. The number is a 647 number. We had no issue communicating before. They can msg me and call but I cannot call or text them. I get a 'long distance' error message.
