Trouble Porting # from VOIP.MS

I ported a number from voip.ms a couple of days ago.  At the moment I can make outgoing calls and they do show as that number, but when I call the # I get a "that number has not yet been assigned" message.  Texts are also not working.  Help!!

Hello, I have the same issue... but now it look like my number is taking from some else.

 

I port out my number (voip.ms) to public mobile. But I can only make call out and I can't receive any call or text.
 
My Step:
  • request change number from public mobile with information.
  • Got the my number (it's show on my plan account)
  • Do a test Call out successfully
  • Follow instruction to delete number with "Check here if you ported this number to another network"

I'm still can't receive call or text (in/out). Plus my number seems to go to someone else.

 

Any help please..

It is rare that people port in from voip.ms.  From what I recall the porting process is really slow.  Remember the 2 to 48 hour porting time is for wireless to wireless.  I would suggest packing a lot of patience and continuing to use the old service as a proxy to when the port is finally completed.

You need to restart your phone to get incoming calls on your number.

Hop it resloves your problem.
