Text message is delayed on receivers end

When I send out texts there is always a delay on receivers end. I tested with 2 people, one gets it after 2 minutes, one gets it after 15. I receive their texts instantaneously. Its been half a week since I transferred to public, and my phone is brand new Huawei honor 10 on Android.

It's not surprising that such an old platform is having issues these days.  There are quite a few reports of SMS issues from time to time.  This is no consolation, consider using a modern messaging app that runs on data.

Yes didn't work. Also I can't remove the battery on my phone

Who are the other carriers involved?  I have read people having similar experiences across carriers.

Have you tried the standard troubleshooting tips?

- Reboot your phone

- Remove SIM and re-insert

- Power off phone & remove battery
