So I have been with Public Mobile for a while using an iPhone, and recently bought an used Google Pixel and switched my SIM card over. Everything seemed to be working well at first, but a day or two into I am realizing in my texting conversations that quite frequently there are some texts being sent to me that I don't receive. Has anyone have this happen or know what I could do? Does it have something to do with changing the SIM card to a new Android phone?

Other than that all you can do is restart your phone, check that in the settings no one is blocked or muted and if it's still happening message the moderator_team and ask them to investigate

@phoneuser96 @GR Yes, its defintiely the setting for imessage. Your number is still registered to recieve imessage and since you are no more using an iphone, the messages are not sent as regular SMS. You can use the below link to unregister your number from imessage:

Wish it were that simple! People whose texts aren't coming through also have Android phones and were never iMessaging me. Thanks though

@phoneuser96 it sounds like some of your conversations were as iMessage and now that you got an android phone when your friends with iPhones message you as an iMessage because they don't know you no longer have an iPhone you're not getting the message. You should text all of them and tell them to delete the messages and start over so it goes as a text when they message you
