Hello,
I just switched to Public Mobile yesterday afternoon at about 4:00pm, at a Wow Kiosque.
I setup my account with the $20 talk no data plan, but meant to choose the $25 Talk & Text plan.
Since I just signed up yesterday can I upgrade and just pay the extra $5+tax?
Side note: If so, will the current Flash Sale credit to my account be for $20 or $25?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
PS I sent a private message to the Moderator_Team asking about this 8hours ago, no reply yet. Anyone know what I should expect for a typical response time?

Oh Okay,
Thank you for the info. @Chanah & @ShawnC13!
I like the idea of self serve, and the community and knowledge base.
I'm thinking I'll often be able to get the answer I'm looking for quicker and easier than the traditional route of calling the company.
But 8 hours seemed long to me, I wasn't sure what to expect.
But good to know my message isn't lost, it's just waiting it's turn 🙂

Unfortunately you can't just add $5 and get the next plan. If you were to change plans now you would be charged the full $25 dollars. As you have messaged the mods already and their response time is 48-72 hours, they will be able to have you add the $5 for texting. If you don't want to wait for that you can purchase the $25 plan and ask them to credit you the $20 for your next renewal.

It can be a few days to get a mod response. I hope they'll get to you quickly, though. Because Public Mobile is pre-paid, if you switched to the 25$ plan, you'd forfeit the plan (and monies) you've already paid. You'd need to wait until your renewal date to change the plan and not lose money.
But because it was a mistake, the mods will hopefully sort it out for you.
