How come mods are able to reply to our pms from email clients? May be different system?

I just tested by replying to the e-mail notice for @Mana's post. The message has not appeared in this thread. Since it doesn't seem to work for forum messages, I don't see it working for private messages either.

Seeing as the notice comes from a "community notification" email address, it's probably a bot you'd be replying to. That's the same e-mail address that sends the notifications for replies to forum threads. I doubt that any replies to it would redirect to the proper place or person.

@mimmo I just checked the private message email in my email inbox, it doesn't say not to reply to it, however, the reply email address seems to be a common community notification email address. So I am not sure if it goes to someone.
