I tried yesterday a number of times to reactivate my plan back to the plan I had and got nowhere. The questions posed to me did not fit my situation I was also trying to use another credit card for monthly payment

It's not an option of one or the other. Customers need to be using the chatbot to open tickets.

But yes, you are not the only one with trouble updating Visa card here. And since you have tried multiple times, you probably have maxed out the number of attempt you can do within 24 hours. So, you need to wait at least 24 hours before trying again. I would try using browser with Incognito mode
but if you need to make a payment to renew, you should not try updating the card. Instead, buy a voucher from Shoppers or London Drug and load the voucher using My Account or *611
