If you are an old customer data stops when it is used up. If you are a new customer you need to set up your Apn.
If you are on a 3g plan and just had a renewal, the data might not have reset (this bug may have been fixed already)
So depending on your situation different approaches will need to be taken.

@jaythakkar1 Before troubleshooting, can you please verify in "My account" that you have a data plan and there is still some left for your current time period?
