why did my android OS suck up a gig
in three days?!! and why is there no option to talk to a service rep when calling *611? extremely frustrated. grrrr.

Then you should have phone support, unless you signed up for s new plan, then you lost you grandfathered plan with phone support.

@joannwilles,

You cannot use the 611 service you don't have a granfathered plan. Those one before Mars 2015. But, you can use it to recharge or add credit to your phone.

I only have mobile data on when I'm using it. Have restricted access on all apps that will allow it. Am baffled by a full gig used by android OS in three/four days. All other apps report expected usage but this. is crazy!

Hi @joannwilles,

Sorry to hear that. I think you have to control some apps on your android. Running apps can suck up all your data in a short time.  To solve that problem, delete unnessaray apps on your phone or stop them from running in backgrownd. If you really want them to be there, put your mobile data off. Go on setting, data usage and then take out the check mark in front of data mobile. Hope that will help you.

I'm trying to figure out how my android OS sucked up an entire gig in three days. Data is turned off except when I am actually using it. Just signed up for a new plan w/ 4gigs per month but if my OS is taking a gig in thrse days??!!! What's the point. Will go back to bare bones plan and access wifi at a cafe when I need it. Tried to access cust. rep via phone but that option seems ti have disappeared. Colour me extremely unimpressed.
