I just created account yesterday, service is not working . account says its working. Previous provider sent message. Number is same . no service! What now?

What happens when someone calls your number?

 

Try:

  • a reset of network settings of the device.
  • the public mobile sim card into another compatible device to see if services work.
  • Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.
  • Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

 

If issues persist, submit a ticket to CSA for assistance.

Try rebooting the phone and power the phone then wait 2 minutes then power back on and see it that works.

What is the model of your phone?  The phone needs to have at least HSPA compatiblility on bands 2 and 5.
