Price hike without explanation

Hi, so I'm on the $19 plan and up until recently my bill has been $19 plus tax. But all of a sudden I'm being charged $21.17 plus tax. No notification that they were changing the plan or anything, and this is more than even the $20 plan they offer. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any advice?

Thank you, I think that is what it is. I vaguely remember getting a message about that but I recently switched phones and lost my prior messages.

You're likely in a province or territory that Public Mobile is now passing on the cost of an e911 fee.  Your plan is still $19 plus taxes and fees.  Affected customers were notified of this both on this website and by text message.
