Hi all,
I'm porting from rogers, my account in self serve shows the correct number. however, when I send a text out from my public mobile activated sim it's another number. What's odd is that, it's almost the same number, it's just one digit off. And when I call this number I get someone else's voicemail...
I got a text from Pm telling me I have go to contact us and complete the sim and activation form as well. But the sim is already activated, just with the wrong number.

Just wanted to update this thread to let everyone know that I got the port to successfully work.
What i did was re-initiate a port in self-serve. Choose the option "CHANGE NUMBER".
I also made sure the Name and Address in my PM profile matched with the outgoing account's info.

Now I'm receiving texts from unknown people..

I get someone's voicemail, my phone does not ring. my wife called me and my old rogers phone rang, the one that was supposed to be ported.

When you call the "wrong" number from another phone, does your cell ring?
