Points system disappointing

Aaronkligerman

Anyone else finding the new points system to be seriously lacking compared to the old one?

The old one had rewards automatically deducted from the monthly bill, and actually rewarded its customers for being loyal, one dollar for every year of loyalty.  This “here’s ten points once a year thanks for being loyal” pales in comparison.

Additionally, rewarding for autopay was great, a dollar off for ensuring payments are made on time and regularly.

Now, we have to do more work, to stay on top of the points and make sure we are cashing them in, and even then the kickbacks are greatly reduced compared to what they once were. My monthly bill is 7 bucks more since the new points system was implemented.

Am I missing something?

How did you get two months free coverage? Saving up points?

You find that you’re getting more kickbacks from the new system than the old?

The “revised” point system works for me as it offers almost two months of free coverage (before taxes) which is better than most other carriers I’ve previously used — $39 Canada USA Mexico 68GB

They only gave no more than 4 contests sonfarz mainly when Public Points rewards was first introduced.  Yes, it would be more "fun" or more "marketable" if they keep the contest alive.

How long have you been with PM? Do you know how often they do the contests I’m reading about, or promotional plans for existing users?

Yes, it is not as good and definitely earning less.  Bur, I will take any savings I can get , 5% is still better than nothing
