Hi there,
Me and my partner are travelling to Canada in a couple of weeks and I plan to buy a prepaid 30-day sim to use in my phone. The issue I'm having is how I'll pay for this, as my credit cards are not registered in Canada.
I've heard about pre-paid cards or something, but where would I buy one of these? We will be going to either Walmart or Wow Boutique to get the sim, would either of these shops sell a pre-paid card at all?
Thanks,
Andy

For Walmart - the smallest denomination voucher they had was $22 FYI so kind of an odd number.

Hello Andy,
Public Mobile, doesn't accept payments from non-Canadian credit cards. However, you can use your foreign card to purchase payment vouchers from major retailers such as Shoppers Drugmart, Canadian Tire and others.
I'm not sure, but retail locations like Walmart, WOW Mobile, and K-Mobile sell the sim cards, and also vouchers... you quite possibly could use your card at those locations also.

I get my prepaid vouchers from Canadian tire gas stations. I have heard Shoppers Drug Mart being mentioned as another option. This is a rather old post, these are possible retailers to look into. While at Wow Mobile or Walmart to pick up a SIM card, definitely check with them.
Going off topic slightly here, it still escapes logic why the list of supporting retailers is no longer posted and maintained up to date.
