Keep getting this message when clicking on the ling to recover the password:

This thread isn't about service activation. That 50 minute wait only applies to situations of allowing the sim card number to be activated after a failed account activation. It's not related to resetting the password of a self serve account.

I have no idea.
Every time I see a password reset question, I test the response time and post my result. Sometime I received it in few minutes. Sometime never receive any reply.
But I never went through the process to reset my password.

@popping I wonder if it is slow based on how many people are online? Like, you know, at peak hours it's really slow to log into your account but fast early morning/late at night.

I tested the password reset system. I received the PM password reset email in 30 minutes.
If you had too many failed login attempts, your account may be locked.
Create a moderator support ticket for help using the ? button at the right side bottom corner of this page.
1. Tell SIMon what is the issue
2. Ask for "moderator"
3. SIMon will give your 2 choices. Click on the "Account-specific question"
4. Then, click on "No, I want a human"
5. Click "Submit a ticket"
6. Follow instruction to create support ticket.

The forgot password email link is valid for about 2 hours then it expires.
Request it again and keep checking your email to see if you receive it

Can you try again and really keep a close watch on your inbox for the moment it comes in.
If it still times out then all you can do is ask the mods to fix it.
