Can I change my number from 437 to 416 or 647

There is a potential workaround that a friend used. If you can get a 416 or 647 number from another provider, you could then port that number to PM. My friend used Fido (for Guelph in his case) because he could open a prepaid account for about $20; it may be cheaper elsewhere.

I doubt you will be offered a 416 or 647 number. You can only choose among the area codes offered.

Yes, you can request to change your number from self serve account.
