New unrecognized charge not on schedule, what is it?

My wife and I are on the 90 days Fall special ($120 every 90 days, minus 1 referral and auto refill discount).

The due date is Apr 22.

My credit card was charged $77.97 tonight by Public Mobile.

What could that be?

Are you saying the payment history doesn't show any charges but your credit card was charged?  This is the first time I have heard of something like this happening.
