Which Motorola phone do you have? Most of their newer models have non-removable batteries.
If it is something like the Moto G you can try holding the power button or power button and volume down button at the same time to try shutting down the phone.
Alternatively you could wait until the battery dies and the phone turns off and then attempt to reboot the devie by charging it.
