Hi everyone,
It has come to my attention that my family and friends have been texting and calling me, but I have not been recieving everything from them. My brother has texted me multiple times through out the month, only to receive texts back from someone else saying he has the wrong number and that they just got this number. My boyfriend tried calling me today using the same number and someone named John picked up instead. Has Public Mobile failed to fully transition my number over to my Public account from Freedom Mobile? How can I find out if my account is fully locked to my number? I've had the same number for four years and really hope I didn't lose it somehow.

If the number is no longer with Public Mobile, go to Freedom and ask the same questions. Numbers don't disappear, they reside with a carrier, just a matter of finding out who. The way numbers are recycled, even it is lost, it should be fairly simple to retrieve it without concern that it would be assigned to a different customer so easily.

I contacted them earlier today and they said the phone number is completed deactivated with them and should be with my active carrier.

I think this is a problem that has happened to others as well.
Send a private message to the Moderator Team with your phone number, and have them look into it.

@PhiasaurousContact Freedom mobile with your account and ask them if the porting has been 100% completed.
