@physiojibin as @makkahn28 indicated, you sign into your self-serve account (https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/), and on the very first page you see (the Overview page), there is a section for add-on usage.  It will show you the add-on name, and how much you have used.  For example, mine shows:

200 min US and Canada Long Distance      69 / 200 MIn

This means I've used 69 mins, and have 131 remaining.

Hopefully that helps!

Kudos guys. How can we check the usage of these add ons?

In my opinion, because the 400 Min Global LD Add-On covers Can and US, I'd choose the $15 one, as the $8. 200 min is only 200 Min, always get one that gives you more bang for buck, as well as in case of extended longer calls. My opinion

You're welcome @physiojibin

You have 2 choices.  200 minutes for $8 or 400 minutes for $15 and as mentioned above, the add-ons never expire as long as your account is active.  These add-ons enable you to make calls to 20 countries including out of province Canada and the US.

You can purchase by signing into your account anytime.

They remain with you on your account until you use up the allocated mins

The Add-Ons have NO expiry date

Hey @physiojibin,

If the number you are calling does not have an area code from within your home province, it is considered a long distance call on your province-wide talk option.

The home province and away province are determined by the area codes of the phone number and not the physical location of the phone number.  This may be the reason why you got the message about long distance add-on.

I am on the same plan and I have purchased a long distance talk add-on which covers my occasional calls to out of province and USA calls.  One add on of $15 will probably last me a whole year.
