Hi,

why I always receive the sms from public  mobile informing me about the amount of used data usage but it is normally incorrect, For examples: public mobile informed that I have used 75% but when I login to my account it shows only 40% used data

I'd recommend resetting your device's data counter on the evening (before going to bed) of the last day of your Public Mobile cycle.

 

Then, you'll know how much data you consumed for the upcoming 30-day period as you consume it.

 

No relying on PM texts or having to login to the self-service screen or downloading an app.

HI @Litono  Yes, the text comes wrong sometime.  But it is strange it always come wrong for you.  But the most important meter is the one on My Account Overview Tab.  If it shows you have 40% , it's good.  No worry.

 

Another way to track is the use app like what suggested  by @esjliv .   Tracking from the device is the best and most accurate way.

 

And since it alwas wrong, you should open a ticket with PM and hope they can address that.

@Litono - are you sure your device is not set up to give you data usage warnings?

 

I would check your device settings to make sure. Turn off these messages if they are not matching your plan start date; OR adjust them each time your plan renews.

 

 

Install an app to track your ‘live’ usage so you can keep track. Public Mobile are 30 day plans (not monthly).

I use this one myself and it gives me what I need from it.

If you are an Apple user, I am sure there is a 30-day app that is available as well.

@Litono  - really, always? Well, that would be annoying.

It was been reported that some people receive erroneous text messages, that can be ignored.

 

That is very good, that you are checking your Self Serve account, because that is the best resource to go by.
