I switched from freedom to Public Mobile.
my problem was that I can make calls but people can’t call me ( msg says number is invalid) but when I call people it’s the same number( my own number)
moderator keep sending msg to me saying reactivate my number with freedom to solve incomplete port problem and I have also sent moderator all the info they need from me.
freedom says that they can not do it because my number is already active with Public Mobile.
There is no help from either end.
But I am sure Public Mobile needs to fix it. I have waited for 10 days already. Why nobody can help me with this. Moderator is not at all helpful here.
Is there any way I can call Public Mobile.

If your number isn't important to you then you could try changing your number? If it is important to you then I'd just use fongo with a temp number for now for incoming calls. At least until the mods fix it.

If your Freedom Mobile service was still active when you requested Public Mobile to transfer in the phone number, the Freedom customer service is likely correct in that your number has been released by them to Public.
When calling your number, do you get the Freedom younger generation-style error message saying "The number doesn't exist" in a young female voice or do you here the more "robotic" and business-like message of "The number you are calling is not in service"? This will give a clue where calls to this number are being routed. The first type of message would indicate the number being still at Freedom, but the second type of message would indicated Public having it.
I suspect the problem is on Public's end. While Freedom doesn't have a good network (in my opinion), their back-end systems generally work. I believe that Public Mobile has far more "glitches" when it comes to activation, billing, and number porting.
Unfortunately, you are at the mercy of the moderators. They are the only ones who can get this fixed for you. While Freedom Mobile customer service may be able to give you a status update about any outgoing porting request, once their system says the number has gone to another carrier, there isn't anything they can actually do for you. And, as far as Freedom is concerned, you're not even a customer any more, although I'm sure they would hope to get you back in the future. It's up to the carrier that you end up at to provide customer service for number porting issues.

@Preet9292 Unfortunately, there is no other way to reach the PM support team. Try sending a pm again with clear explanation and hopefully this time another knowledgeable moderator get in touch with you.
