IPhone 17

I recently purchased an iPhone 17, transferred all my data, but am not able to activate the cellular carrier. It states my phone number is not supported. Do I need to get an eSim card? If so, how does the process work?

Thanks in advance.

yes, you need to buy a new eSIM

download the Public Mobile app on your new phone.  Login the app.  The 2FA code will send to you via SMS.  See if you can receive it on your old phone.  If not, click Didn't Receive code or Resend code and choose Send email or Send voice message.

After you login, go to Account -> Purchase sim card and choose eSIM.  Pay and follow the eSIM setup on the new phone
