Hello! I've been trying to use my hotspot to play some games online with my Nintendo switch. The problem is that it gives a nat type of D. I need B or higher. Is there any work around for this? There's no wifi at the location I'm doing this at. Thank you!

I just asked for my friend. He had the same issue and ended up using VPN to get through it. You are gamer, so the VPN is well worth it
some suggested bluetooth tethering

could be hard, unlike home routers, mobile hotspots do not typically support Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), which automatically handles port forwarding for gaming
you can try to change your hotpot band to use 2.4Ghz
or some had success to change the mobile network mode. Try 4G, try LTE and try 5G or even try 3G if you have 3G in the area
