I am trying to port my phone number. I registered an account with Public but missed one digit on my IMEI number. I don't know how to get this fixed. Can someone help me???

Ok that's great. I sent you the phone number already to call the team to request the port again.

We have the phone working again with the old carrier. But we got a message from Public Mobile saying the IMEI number was incorrect and they cannot port my phone number. We had missed one digit. What do we do next?

So the port was successful then? You are no longer getting calls and SMS to the old one? Did you initially receive the SMS and confirm?

Thank you Sansan, Unfortunately I'm worried that I cannot receive a message from my old provider. My old SIM card is not working. It's like it's in limbo because one provider is trying to contact the other to transport my number.

@MollyZ2 I'll send you another message with a phone number to call. Make sure to keep your old provider sim on your phone to receive the SMS. This time it's best to use the account number instead, but if you don't have it that's fine. Use the IMEI again.
