How come it doesn't let me sign in with my Hotmail account

If you are taking about self serve as you were obviously lifted in here, have you set up an account?  They are two different accounts and separate sign ins

close all Browser and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

and try open one Browser incognito mode,

and try Forgot your password visit Here link, and enter your email address,

check your email spam,

or you need to Contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agentand Explain your issue to 
them can solve your issue, they are nice Service Team they will help you 100%.

and them will reset for you,

Go back into your email accounts to make sure you're using the correct email address.

 

Look for the activation email that you should have received from public mobile when you activated.

 

One way to test whether you have the correct email address for self serve login credentials is to use the "forget password" option to see if Public Mobile recognizes the registered email address.

@Donaldgautreau  - what are you trying to sign into? There are a few different accounts you can create with Public Mobile.

 

THIS one - Community, which clearly you can sign in.

 

SELF SERVE (once you have a Public Mobile phone number/account) - create an account for this here: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/self-registration/

If issues and you cannot log in after creating an account, open a tab in incognito mode, and try that way.

 

Buying a SIM Card and Phone sections. You don't need to create an account for these, you should be able to continue as a guest to proceed to purchase for these.

 @Donaldgautreau : Sign in to what? Community? Self-serve? Purchasing? What have you created so far? If you once did use that hotmail account then maybe you have a wrong password.
