I get a Generic Error when I try to change my sim card number.
It's a public mobile sim card.
I've tried multiple times.

Try clearing your cache/history/cookies. Close browser and open a new one in incognito/private mode. It also could be a server problem at this moment so you might want to try later.
Have you tried putting the SIM card in and rebooting to see it might have gotten changed?
