I switched to public mobile because of this promotion. The main page said that users could get their first month free if they activated from Dec. 13-16, but I don't see any credits added to my account. I did receive the international minutes and extra data but I won't use those 😕

Public Mobile has never offered the first 30 days for free. When I see "next 30 days", I do agree with you that should mean free for the proceeding 30 days starting now. Public Mobile is actually offering the second complete set of 30 days, or the first renewal, for free. .

@Defaultfrost there's never been a promotion where customers get the first month free. That would amount to a free activation. As already pointed out, it's really a second month free deal.

@Defaultfrost Your first month credit will be given to your account few days later after you activated (But you must be having a plan of $25 or more).
As long as you have data plan in yours, it will use up your current plan before the "Add-on" kicks in. Make sure you have your APN setting properly. https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles?q=apn
For your long distant call, you have to put proper area code to the country that you are calling in front of the phone number.

They've been using this wording as long as I've been here.
It says "your next 30 days". This means your first renewal. The promo says it should appear inside of 6 days.
