Data not working

I just signed up today for the 40$ plan with 4.5gb data. But the problem is I can't access the data from my phone. Before this I didn't have problem with my previous carrier. Pls let me know if I need to change any settings to the phone or something like that. Thanks very much

Same problem here. Signed up yesterday and just realized no data while I'm out.

Hi,

 

I was going through the same situation. In my case I had to factory reset the phone for the data to work. I ported over from a different carrier. I triple checked the APN and honestly nothing was working. As soon as I factory reset the phone popped in the SIM card the data started working without needing to manually set the APN. Hope this helps!

What type of device are you on? If on iphone, may need to go to settings>cellular and ensure data is on and the lte if applicable is set to both voice and data. Android devices  may be settings>data usage or something that will enable mobile data to be turned on. More info about the device may be helpful

Seems APN settings are often the magic ingredient for data.

Check this out to find out more and read a couple few down.

 

And of course the easy try a reboot.

When I got on to PM, all those things just came in seemingly automagically. I didn't have to change anything. But some devices may not.

May have to change APN settings.  If you use this site it will give you the correct settings for your phone.  http://apn-canada.gishan.net/
