I asked @Dieden55 for make and model on Friday and has not responded. This is definitely useful information. However, he or she has posted after that they they tried their SIM in two other unlocked phones and also had no luck with data. This likely indicates a faulty SIM card or an account issue. @Dieden55, have you contacted a community moderator (Public Mobile support employee) via private message yet? They can check your account and if all looks good there, send you a new SIM card free of charge.

@Dieden55, sorry to hear about your troubles. You can't blame the service for what is pretty much a user error. Others on this service are able to set up their phone to receive data. If you cannot get it done yourself, you cannot blame the provider. This is a no frills, self serve service. The community here is very helpful. So, if you can describe in greater detail what setting you have on your phone, maybe include some screen shots, we will try to help you through the difficulties.

data works. as long as you have purchased it in your plan.
what phone are you using? if its an LG g4 or g5 you might need to do a factory reset. iphone4 you need to get seting from a website and uploa a config file.
sometimes you need to delete all past apn setting put in the new apn and reboot the phone.
have you tried your sim in a different phone?
